宏達電從去年蝴蝶機上市以來，陸續推出的鳳蝶機、新HTC One都交出銷售好成績，更在4月拿下台灣手機市占第一，打鐵趁熱，23日再宣布雙卡雙待的新手機HTC Desire 600 dual sim，預計6月全球上市，希望再進一步挹注營收表現。
宏達電指出，HTC Desire 600 dual sim是第一支採用最新HTC Sense 5的進階智慧型手機，搭載屢新HTC One的核心體驗HTC BlinkFeed首頁和HTC BoomSound音響，另外，價格也更加滿足消費者需求。
執行長周永明表示，「現代人每天依賴智慧型手機瀏覽新聞、電子郵件、社群網站及聆聽音樂，HTC Desire 600 dual sim結合即時與多工處理的創新HTC BlinkFeed首頁，統整所有最即時的資訊，讓忙碌的使用者能一目了然，並提供工作和娛樂間最強而有力的功能支援，樹立進階智慧型手機標竿」。
宏達電表示，內建雙卡雙待並支援雙通的HTC Desire 600 dual sim，可享受兩支手機合而為一的自在感，隨心所欲切換兩個門號，雙待雙通系統，讓兩個門號能同時待機，即使其中一個門號正在使用，另一個門號也能同時待機接聽。
